The Integrated Network for Regional Development in the Pelagonija Region (IMRR of PPR) is an initiative led by the Center for Development of the Pelagonija Planning Region, the 9 municipalities from the Pelagonija Planning Region as well as the regional chambers of commerce and crafts, LAGs and representatives of the university and the civil sector in Pelagonija.

The integrated regional development network of the Pelagonija planning region was formally established in early 2015 with support provided by the Ministry of Local Self-Government and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) office in Skopje.

The PPR IMRR was established on the basis of decisions on the establishment of inter-municipal cooperation made by all nine municipalities in the region.

The establishment of the IMRR of PPR is in accordance with the goals and activities of the five-year Development Program of the Pelagonija planning region and the three-year Action Plan for implementation of the National Strategy for balanced regional development.

PURPOSE OF THE INTEGRATED NETWORK FOR REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE PELAGONIS PLANNING REGION

 Improving the cooperation between the private, public and non-governmental sector in the region and strengthening the coordination between these sectors in the implementation of activities intended for the development of the region;

improving the economy of the region;

The scope of IMRR of PPR in accordance with the developed Work Program is in the following               3 priorities:

Economic environment – Strengthening the economic environment and the labor market situation in the Pelagonija planning region.

Social environment – Capacity building for development and delivery of services in the social environment of the region

Social environment – Capacity building for development and delivery of services in the social environment of the region


The project is technically and financially supported by the Ministry of Local Self-Government and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
